Tournament Directory — Coming Soon
Everyone Registers for FREE — Coaches, Team Admins, Parents, Athletes.
This page is a placeholder. "Tournament" already exists as a game-type option when logging a score, but there's no dedicated tournament directory/schedule feature yet — let RankNation Sports know what this should show (upcoming tournaments? results? brackets?) and it can be built out properly.
💬 Team Messaging
A private space for your team to talk
Team Messaging is a private group chat built into every team's page on RankNation Sports — a place for parents, coaches, and team staff to stay connected without needing a separate app or group text.
🔒
Private to your team
Only people linked to your specific team can see or post in your team's chat — not the public, not other teams.
👥
Parents & coaches together
Anyone with a parent, coach, athletic director, or team admin account linked to your team can join the conversation.
⚡
Updates in real time
New messages refresh automatically while you have the chat open — no need to keep hitting reload.
How to use it
- Sign in with a parent, coach, or team admin account.
- Your account needs to be linked to a registered team — this happens when your team is approved on RankNation Sports.
- Click "Open My Team's Messages" below (or use this same button from the nav bar any time) to jump straight into your team's chat.
- Everyone else linked to your team sees the same conversation and can reply.
Not linked to a team yet? Register your team to get started, or contact your team's admin to get added.
👀 Athletes to Watch
Coming Soon
This page is a placeholder. There's no existing feature or selection process for spotlighting specific up-and-coming athletes yet — let RankNation Sports know how this should work (staff picks? based on stats? by class year?) and it can be built out properly.

❓ How RankNation Works
Your complete guide to the National Club and Travel Sports Platform
1
Register Your Club & Travel (Free)
Click Register and fill out your team's information. Choose your state, your role (Parent, Coach, AD, Team Admin, or RankNation Sports Staff), and which sports your team competes in. Registration is completely FREE. Once you submit, you'll receive a confirmation email immediately.
2
RankNation Sports Reviews & Approves
Our RankNation Sports Staff reviews every registration within 1-2 business days. This ensures only legitimate teams appear on the platform. Once approved, you receive an email and your team goes live in the rankings system.
3
Submit Game Scores
After each game, use the Quick Submit panel or the Entry section to log your final score. Include the opponent's name, game date, and game type. Each result automatically updates your team's national ranking using the RankNation Sports formula.
4
Score Live Games in Real Time
The Live section lets anyone watching the game score it in real time — period by period, with play-by-play event tracking. You can record who scored, who got the rebound, who had the interception, who recorded the pin — depending on the sport. Live scores appear in the scoreboard ticker at the top of every page.
5
View National Rankings
The Rankings section shows the Top 10 nationally for every sport. Rankings are calculated using the RankNation Sports formula: Win % × 60 + Strength of Schedule × 25 + Point Differential × 15. Teams need at least 3 completed games to appear in national rankings. Filter by sport and state.
6
Track Stat Leaders
The Stats section shows national and state stat leaders for every sport — points per game, rushing yards, goals, batting average, kills per set, pins, and more. Stats are submitted by coaches and ADs after each game.
7
Manage Your Roster
Coaches and ADs can add players to their team's roster in the Rosters section. Each roster supports up to 2 Team Captains per team, who are highlighted with a gold ⭐ Captain badge. Rosters are publicly viewable for all registered teams.
8
Eligibility Rules
RankNation Sports is exclusively for Club/Travel Teams. All registered organizations must be affiliated with an accredited club and travel program. RankNation Sports is the Official Partner and governing body for this platform.
9
RankNation Sports Student-Athlete of the Week
Each week, RankNation Sports staff selects one outstanding club and travel athlete for the National Spotlight — featured prominently on the homepage with their photo, stats, position, and story. The Spotlight recognizes exceptional performance, sportsmanship, or achievement across all registered sports and states. Teams can contact RankNation Sports to nominate athletes.
10
Athlete of the Week Voting
Every week, fans, parents, and coaches can vote for the Athlete of the Week from a curated list of nominees selected by RankNation Sports. Each visitor gets one vote per week. Nominees are displayed with their stats and team, and a live vote count updates in real time. The week's winner is announced when RankNation Sports closes voting. This section drives significant community engagement and repeat traffic to the platform.
11
Platform Stats Counter
Rankings and team pages update automatically as teams register and games are submitted.
